Who are we?

At PONG (Promoting Opportunities for the Next Generation), we believe every student deserves the opportunity to discover their potential in STEAM. Through free programs, mentorship, and educational opportunities, we work to reduce barriers for underrepresented and minority students while creating an inclusive community where all students are encouraged to learn, innovate, and thrive.

PING

A two week physics summer program for high school and undergraduate students

NucleArt

A two week art summer program for high school and undergraduate students

Life Lab

A 2 week life skills summer program for undergraduate freshman, high school seniors, and juniors

Catalyst

A month long program where teachers are connected to a network of resources for them and their students

Horizons

A month long program where undergraduate mentors are paired with high school mentees

Each month, students in each program nominate a peer they believe deserves to be highlighted for their achievements, contributions, or positive impact within their program

John Doe

Tampa, Florida

John Doe is a undergraduate student, studying physics at Michigan State University. He is part of the PING Program (2025 cohort) and has been nominated for his attention to detail, great insight, and strong work ethic. After PING, he plans to use his knowledge and newfound passion for computers to pursue his bachelors in physics.
